The new season of Star Trek Picard is actually really f**King good...

To my absoloute shock.

After ****ing the franchise up beyond belief for the last few years, they didn't know what to do with the final season of this show so they punted it off to some next dude to make the series with a budget of peanuts, and its great.

Just good, quality, old school style Star Trek

No woke BS, the characters actually feel like their TNG selves, some great emotional scenes that are actually earned.

It's a shocker.

Fuk yea. Haven't seen the latest episode, but the one where they escape the nebula is pretty awesome. Shaw is great.

Almost started this show last night. I never was into the old Star Trek though but I really like good sci fi stuff.

Just looking at the cast. Its good that so many of the OG cast have returned.... decents like Johnathan Frakes, Michael Dorn, LeVar Burton, Gates McFadden, Brent Spiner.

I'm being convinced to give it a try, too many people saying it's great... but **** did I absolutely loathe season 1.. Season 2 wasn't as bad, but it was still chit.

Season 3 is like... It's not even the same show as season 1 and 2, the gulf in quality is astronomical.

There was a shakesperian cameo by a certain character in the most recent episode.

Man they don't make actors like that anymore.
