Surgeon rejected me for a hair transplant and told me to get on fin aka dink killer

So i contacted one of the very best hair transplant surgeons in the world as i have been losing hair last couple of years and i think the reaper might be more brutal in the future. After analyzing my case and pictures, he basically told me since i am not bald enough and not on finasteride he will not do a hair transplant on me. Says that hair trainsplant is done on patients with stable hair situation.

Also he straight up told me that a hair transplantation surgery without using Finasteride is not reccomended in my case. Told me to try finasteride along with a few other meds. I refuse to take fin aka dead dink pills. What do?

Fin ruined my life for a year or two, so definitely tread carefully.

I also got a hair transplant that changed my life for the better, here in Mexico, for 4k, and the doctor has amazing results. I know it sounds bad when you see Mexico but trust me, ive been researching about this subject for nearly a decade now, i know the pros and cons about going to reputable surgeons, the best surgeons in the world etc, and im not afraid to 100% recommend this surgeon, he has hollywood like cases relatively cheap, and is 100% specialized on HTs, so he has a bunch of before and afters to show you etc.


He is against propecia too btw.

Dr Cortez?? Was looking at him too, only thing I'm using right now is rosemary oil and dermapen. Minoxidil gives me horrible dark circles under my eyes to the point i look like a racoon and makes my face age like **** (used it from 25-30). Stopped using rogaine for a few months, face looks younger without it

I think HT my only solution, I recently started topical finasteride with minoxidil this week thought it would be better, dink stopped working even with cialis man.

Looks like a very honest Dr. Consider yourself lucky. (srs)

Some people respond really well to Fin and even regrow lost hair.

My only regret with Fin is not starting it earlier.

On the contrary, derms take the easy way out giving propecia prescriptions like candy. It sure helps with their patients concerns, obviously, so word on word goes around and everybody wants to go to them because it makes them look good.

HT surgeons arent any different, a patient not using propecia getting a hair transplant and hopping on propecia at the same time will have amazing results, making the surgeon look even better.

was it a FUE transplant? were you already bald when you got the transplant?

I had a widows peak plus thinning on the peak. Now have a full head of hair after two transplants, nobody can tell whatsoever, his results are world class. Yeah it was FUE.

Yeah dude, first couple days i could barely get it up goes limp after a bit, i thought it was placebo so i took some cialis but that resulted in same crap. Its a lot better now but ima just stay away from fin from now on.

What doctor you end up going too? Might have to fly down and check him out as well

Don't take from hims. I had no issues on fin from my hair transplant surgeon and then I took from them and my dink had no sensation. Luckily after a month, it started to come back and now it's normal but I'll definitely never take that again. I rather be mr clean bald.

BTW, which dic did you talk to? I had mine done by Dr. Rafael DeFrietas, and although I still think he was a bit too conservative, it’s an amazing job.

From someone who was in your position a decade ago, I would have thanked that ethical doctor and consider yourself lucky. The hair transplant industry is shady as fuk and most doctors do not have your best interest in mind when it comes to making money. You are just a number in their hair transplant mill regardless if you are a legit candidate for HT or not. They don’t give a fuk if you keep losing hair after taking your money because that means another procedure for you and more money for them.
