Reverse Dieting anyone have experience with this?

Is this real or bs? I have 30-40lbs I want to lose. Feels like I’m already eating low calories, 1800-2200 I would say. Not really budging.

Its real, but you need to be gradual with it. 100 calories added per week.

But if you are not tracking and guessing you are probably eating way more than you think.

The trick to dieting is really a few things.

First, you want to lose weight without any sort of working out. maybe just some walking around the block but other than that nothing.

Imagine your body is like a race car. You want to drive it around the track as fast as possible. So you set it up and drive it as fast as you can. So now you will know what the car can handle at max speed.

if you are constantly messing with it and tweaking it and adjusting stuff as you are driving it, of course it will be confusing and you wont have a baseline to work from.

Once you are losing without working out, then start to add them in and slightly adjust your calories up so you are still losing weight.

What usually happens is people eat way to little and work out extra hard. They lose weight for a few weeks and then nothing so the natural tendency is to cut calories even ore and double the workouts. Thats basically the opposite of what will actually work.

Also plan a cheat day once every two weeks or so. Cheat, eat what you have been wanting like pizza and stuff and the next day get back to it. Works every time.
