Clean diet bulking, what is the limit

Is there a limit to how much rice and potatoes you can eat? Obviously there has to be a limit to how much meat, eggs, and fats you can eat before your digestion starts suffering. Atleast I have found there comes a point where it just feels like im eating too much protein and/or fat.

Its not like I am hardcore bulking and want to get fat, I just want to put some more muscle on but feel like Im barely maintaining and I eat all day everyday. 4 eggs and oatmeal for breakfast, smoothie with whey, fruit and nuts for a snack, beef with rice and avocado for lunch, potatoes and chicken for dinner. Have to eat some sort of snack every night before bed, usually fruit and more nuts. Fuark.

What's your maintenance level?
How high above it are you eating?
You track your food?
You hitting all your macro numbers?

If you are just winging it, you will have a hard time.

This^^

You need to figure out your maintenance calories and go slightly above. (Not going to aggressive in your surplus means minimal fat gains.) If you want to hit your calories easier use more calorie dense foods.
