I have tried playing re4 original recently in anticipation of this since I really enjoyed the re2 and 3 remake, but never played og4. And I haven’t really enjoyed it tbh despite people saying it’s the best. And it’s not age of the game since I just played the re1 remake and loved it.

Maybe I’ll like playing the remake more or something.I think the lean away from zombies is what’s getting me.

Squat: 460x1
Bench: 400x1
Deadlift: 575x1
OHP: 250x2
Weight: 180 lbs.

Really I actually prefer the creepy ass cult in RE4, more threatening than braindead zombies

is it more survival then action?

i really liked and started with re5 and liked 6 as well. 7 (biohazard right?) was too hard for me and way more on the near death/survival side. had to keep looking at online walkthroughs for that game and probably only got 1/4-1/3 into the game and gave up cuz i kept dying or not know what to do so much.

People keep telling me RE4 was the absolute pinnacle of the entire series.


Sadly, I couldn't play RE4 because it caused me motion sickness. I'll probably just watch gameplay footage on youtube during work hours (since I'm too old to play games these days)....

Def gonna play this as I never tried the original, the issue is how huge my backlog is. I still have Elden Ring and Ragnarok lined up, on top of a few others including Dead Space and Hogwarts. This year is 100% going to be my best year in gaming ever. I know it will never be topped and I already made my peace lol

Faurk bros got passed a few of the village levels. 11/10 so far, its much harder than the OG version. Cant wait to play it all day tomo. Calling it a night for now, pce nerds

Lol idk I couldnt shake the scenario of me waltzing into a random village and headshotting a bunch of somewhat aggressive for all I know normal peasants wielding brooms and hoes for no real reason
