Read it again. He is saying texts and emails will be damaging toprosecution, not Trump.

He said you can't trust Stormy or Michael Cohen.

You think SaltyDog can read? I'm shocked the guy remembers to breathe, much less read.

The Brady rule requires the government hand over any exculpatory evidence which may help the defense to show the trial jury.

BUT... this rule doesn't apply (IIRC - I don't practice criminal law) to evidence shown to a grand jury. A grand jury just determines whether there is probable cause to indict. I don't think the prosecutor has to show exculpatory evidence to the grand jury. So the grand jury could find probable cause without ever seeing the exculpatory evidence.

There is NO RIGHT of a defense counsel in a grand jury.

So... Bragg is trying to dupe this grand jury into finding probable cause to indict by hiding all the exculpatory evidence.

Absolute clown car political prosecution being performed by an overenthusiastic attorney who thinks he's found this loophole in the rules and intends to exploit it for political points. But he's going to get his absolute ass handed to him in real court which is how these things normally go.

Yeah, that makes sense. They just want to keep Trump jammed up for the next year or two with a criminal case. The outcome of the case isn't what's important, just that he's under indictment leading up to the 2024 election.

Bragg should be disbarred and thrown in jail for his corruption and weaponization of his office.
