back squats because you can use more weight

Front squats give me a sick pump in my quads and put way more size in them than anything else I ever did. (Ded fkn Srs)

Front squats are more quad dominant, where as back squats are more posterior chain dominant.

Both are great exercises for overall lower body development.

If I could only pick one, I’d choose front squats. They are hard AF, safer, and have more carryover into athletic performance.

how are front squats safer? do them in a rack with safety bars and there is nothing to worry about unless you compromise form to push bigger weight

I have seen people pass out doing front squats from the bar rolling near their collar bone

I do agree with this.

I prefer hack squats over all as of lately. It really allows me to focus on activating my legs how I want them to, in comparison to a barbell. As with a barbell there so much going on, that's very difficult to have a mind muscle connection. (Ded fkn Srs)
