4 shifts all day everyday.
Your life would actually be worse off because $65k isn't that much a difference and you're working an extra hour.

IDK this is a little tricky for me tbh. $52k 40 hrs vs $65k 50 hrs. The former is worth $25/hr (2080 hours per year), the latter is also worth $25/hr (2600 hours per year). So you're essentially getting the same pay per hour of your time, but you get to work more hours.
I think I'd only consider this if I was in the middle of a financial crisis, to where that I felt like I needed another $7k-10k/yr net to achieve important goals (like paying off debts with high interest, fund a certain medical emergency, etc.). Otherwise, I would say that "being paid the same hourly rate does NOT make going from 3 days weekends to 2 days weekends worth it." I'd only consider it if that day was "time and a half" (overtime).
I work 4x10 too btw OP. Absolute joy. Every week feels like a mini-vacation.

Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

I'll take the 52k job every time.
The 65k job is less money per hour, or doesn't pay overtime. Either way, no thx.
