theres a scene where toretto (vin diesel) gets saved by brian (paul walker), and he says that he found out brian did 2 years in jail, and then he goes on to say you can find out anything about anyone on the internet. Bro, this film came out in 2001, so really you can say it was filmed/written 1999-2000.

Like how long has the internet been exposing us like this?

Yeah that is pretty interesting. It definitely wasn't a common thing to get doxxed back then. Even the word doxx didnt exist or wasnt used that I remember. I do remember the talk about how much information was now available which scared a lot of people at the time and I think the writers just kinda accidentally predicted the future.

There's so many things in that movie that are ahead of his time, I've watched it many times but it was like I was noticing new things I had never seen before. Honestly the film is pretty fukin good.
