Anyone had a dental bridge?

I had a root canal years back but never got it crowned. Somehow it caused my wisdom tooth to break. Now they claim the other tooth in front of it could go too. They want to pull them all and put in a bridge. There’s no pain s as o I got up out of there but would like to know if anyone has ever had one of these?

I was thinking more of the one in San Francisco or New Orleans tbh. What’s funny is I’ve never heard of the term bridge in denistry and I said no I came from up the street and they were looking at me like wtf

dental bridges usually go bad after 5-10 years you are better off getting implants. how did you break the wisdom tooth were you chewing on the tooth that wasn't capped?

I’ve been eating on the tooth that wasn’t capped for several years. The wisdom tooth was healthy but I think the nerve in it died or something and it’s crumbling

yeah i'm in a similar situation. I got 2 root canals and both failed and have been rocking temoporary fillings on them for over a year but i don't chew on it at all. To make things worse i broke a tooth on the other side of my mouth. Gonna just pull all of them eventually and get implants.

Well I’m terrified to do that. I like my teeth and do t want to lose them. They could also make mistakes too. I had healthy teeth and broke one chewing on a bottle top thst I opened up with my front teeth at a party. That one got a cavity in it and then I needed a root canal. If you break a tooth make sure to get it filled in and make sure to get it capped. I know now

OP your post is confusing as hell. Can't tell which teeth are there/missing/broken/rootcanal/scheduled to be extracted.

Well I went to an endodontist and they did a root canal right then and there on it and he wants to fill in the other one. I’ll be hopefully keeping all my teeth. Glad I got up out that one place.

Good stuff OP, sounds like the best result.

Root canal work doesn't make for a fun day. Would give measly reps but out of rep juice.
