would you play old multiplayer games with human bots?

when I say human bots i mean bots that are indistinguishable from humans.

I was thinking of it today when I loaded up black ops 1 but all the servers were dead here. It would be sweet if they added bots with their own personality and skill levels to all these old games lol.

How far are we from this?

Only if they roasted me in the lobby and lost their **** every time I killed them in game.

On a side note SBMM ruined competitive FPS games, who tf wants to be sat there with gamma labs dripping off their sweat covered lips just to go 1 to 1 in both kd and team score.

I completely agree with SBMM. I have no idea why people think it's a good idea. If you are going to implement SBMM you need to widen the parameters MUCH more than most games do. To be in a game where everyone is at the same skill level is so boring. I want the joys of crushing the noob, raging when the noob gets me with a lucky one, I want to see some no lifer destroy a whole team on his own, and the thrill of getting a lucky kill on that no lifer. Tight SBMM just gives online games no variety.
