Nah just keep drinking until something really bad happens that forces you to stop. Either you kill someone else, or you end up killing yourself eventually. One or the other happens given enough time.
So just drink up, nothing to be ashamed about. It’s your choice, you’re allowed to.

Drink vodka for no hangovers. I don't drink wine at all cause I feel like aids the next day. Beer is ok in small amounts.

Drinking in excess has about the lowest ROI possible.
For those that can drink in moderation, more power to them. 2-4 drinks and chill, not hungover = profit.
But the old saying goes, one is too many and 100 is never enough.

Hence why I like red wine, but you're right about the hang over...

Vodka causes hangovers just like wine, and is probably worse for you actually.

It depends...I don't even know what an alcoholic is anymore? If someone was to ask me am I an alcoholic? I'd say yes.
I don't drink during the week though. I WFH, and my weekend is time to enjoy getting drunk off Jameson watching soccer, and hockey, and seeing my girl.
I think sometimes when people say do you drink...they themselves are afraid to drink alone.
Funny enough I'm listening to this song...my girl is obsessed with it...

When it comes to wine, congeners are believed to be responsible for the extra-intense hangovers. Red wine and other dark drinks have higher concentrations of congeners, which are chemical byproducts of the fermentation process that gives these drinks their taste and smell.

Instead, get involved in something fun at home like a hobby. It could be games or making something.
If you have to drink, think about going out to a bar and club. You can just stand there and people watch if you want. It's better than sitting at home masturbating with a bottle of poison, or two.

Odds are if you're drinking while out in a social situation, you're moving around more (walking, dancing, whatever) and burning at least SOME of the calories. Drinking while watching a movie or gaming though is obviously just further negativity against your Calories in : out ratio for the day. This is why I prefer weed if I'm planning on a lazy day. Never drive after drinking though, DUIs can ruin people, but so too can property damage, or even life loss.
I think extremes aren't the answer for most people. So drinking daily, versus an eternity of abstinence. One good idea instead might be to come up with rules like: Never drink on a work day, or a day before you work. Only drink once a week max. Measure all drinks if using liquor, and if you do mix drinks then do diet soda or water for zero added sugar/Calories. Don't keep alcohol in the fridge/pantry to reduce ease of access and temptation. Never drink alone, only socially. Workout extra hard, add on some extra cardio, if you foresee yourself drinking that day. Etc.
