Running a full marathon in 6 weeks time, been training for it since December although I’m 4 weeks behind schedule in my training programme due to injuries and moving house so lost some fitness.
I weigh 150lbs aswell as a manlet
Half marathon distance I did today:

Here’s my shorter runs about 3-4 weeks ago when I had peak fitness:

Pic of 150lbs OP, I’ve barely lifted past few months tbh apart from 3x5 compound lifts:
Once I do this Marathon will probably stop running and just focus on lifting.

Solid average performance brah, you lift and haven't trained running for long so no need to expect a miracle. Keep it up and work on stretching and chit to avoid injury and the marathon will be fun, sub 4 or maybe even 3:45.

But yeah sub 4 hours would be a good enough time tbh.

Nice leonard.
I did a half marathon once and never again. I switched to short course triathlon (sprint and super sprint) as I didn't have to shed a load of weight for it.
I sit around 240lbs and have to get below 200lbs to distance run without pain from the impact. I can do 5 miles without issue, but above that the impact starts to annoy my lower back when over 200lbs.
Switching some of the distance to cycling and swimming is much easier on the body.

Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!
The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.
They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......

Then I thought I already paid £60/$75 to partake and it’s non-refundable so might aswell try.

Honest opinion? at 150 pounds you should be running much faster. You do have a lot of muscle which slows you down but you still should be having faster times due to weight.

The half marathon wasn’t as hard as I thought tbh but it’s nothing compared to the full one.

The average recreational 1st time runner does a 10 min mile and you are well under that so be proud with 8:15's.
it is usually about 2 hours for the first half and a little longer for the 2nd because at mile 23/24 the bear jumps on your back and completing the last 3 miles is really hard.
Good luck and get new shoes if the feet ankle thing is a problem.

OP's elite cardio can be tracked down to burying himself in Brazilian booties till he almost passes out and intense pron bone sessions.
