Rate my new gaming laptop purchase
I know desktops are always going to be better but I needed a laptop. I'm a pretty causal gamer but want to run some modern games on high settings.
I paid $1200 CAD (~$900 USD)
Processor
12th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-12900H (24 MB cache, 14 cores, 20 threads, up to 5.00 GHz Turbo)
Video Card
NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3070 Ti, 8 GB GDDR6
Display
15.6", QHD 2560 x 1440, 240Hz, WVA, Non-Touch, Anti-Glare, 400 nit, Narrow Border, LED-Backlit
Memory *
16GB, 2x8GB, DDR5, 4800MHz
Hard Drive
1 TB, M.2, PCIe, SSD

Both gaming laptops I've owned had the keyboard break down, presumably because of overheating. My 2nd one has a Rizen though which are notorious for running hot. Hope you have better luck.
