Professional Resume Services: Worth it?
Last time I had one it was over 10 years ago so it's badly outdated. So I was inquiring about a job position that I see as my next step up and the manager said "Send me your Resume" and I'm like "fark..." Doing it myself, I just don't know, but looking into a professional service sounds like a good idea, $100-300 but that's not much if it helps you land the job you want. Any experience Misc?

It's not that hard to put together a decent resume even without an online resume builder service
Would just keep it clean, easy to read, professional looking, to the point, and not corny or false or over the top
My resume looks pretty crazy going from construction work to writing books to cybersecurity to Wall Street to killing hogs
And that is not including my "private ventures" from my more rebellious outlaw days but that's behind me
I really only share things like this on the misc and with people who are very close to be honest
Because a lot of people would not believe my life story if I told them and I understand that
I don't have a college degree so I needed an impressive resume and I put in the work
But the white collar world is not for me would rather kill hogs it's just a good time

No, just download any example from google and follow the format.
Here's a good format. It's clean and straight to the point...

I've used one. I think it was about $300 about 8 years ago, but it was definitely worth it. I still use it when needed, now I just tweak it a bit when I need to update it
My only recommendation is that you have a face to face, or phone call interview with the person who is making it, so that they have a proper understanding of what your previous roles were. You don't want to just give someone online a description of your previous roles. Thy will probably just outsource it to some ****** in India

I would just delete the section about INTERESTS and just leave it as SKILLS.
No hiring manager, regardless of what others may say, care about what your interest/hobbies are pre interview.
