Kat Cammack, Brian Mast, Vern Buchanan, and Greg Steube, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter. None of those legislators returned requests for comment."

DeSantis shouldn’t even run at this point. There’s no upside for him to enter a race where he’s guaranteed to lose and in the process will have his reputation tainted by an onslaught of attacks from Trump and his campaign. He will come out of the primary damaged goods.

DeSantis could very easily just finish off his job as governor, do a great job at that and run in 2028 as a Reagan-style front runner.
