The ability to misc and watch youtube/streams all day
nobody around me 90% of the shift. Completely in solitude. My own bathroom and microwave, change room
should add that it's in a pretty scenic location next to the lake. So I am getting some sunlight and fresh air which I dont usually get

My savings would run out after 6-7 months.
Most people basically work in order to not be homeless, and health insurance is chained to your employment.

The fact that i dont have a job for starters.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

Keeping a roof over my head and paying for my kids' various needs. What else would keep me going back to that hellhole every day?

Nothing is keeping me there. I feel like quitting every day. I’m either going to have to take on some debt or I’ll end up quitting because I don’t need the money

-High salary relative to cost of living in this area.
-Work from home 97% of the time.
-I can pretty much do what I want as long as I meet deadlines.
-Relatively easygoing boss & company culture
-They have treated me well for 5 years.
Ill ride it out till the wheels fall off.

Its the best place ive worked at in terms of dealing with chit jobs and bad clients.
Boss actually cares about being able to maintain a personal/family life.
Work from home 90% of the time.
Pays well enough that if I stick it out for 9 more years I can retire comfortably.

I pretty much get paid to do dumb sht with my friends most of the day and love the stress and adrenaline. Fck a boring job. Pay and benefits too.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Do you mean quit and just not work, or quit to go to another job? Because if you mean looking for another job....always. NEVER get comfortable. The moment you get comfortable, you lose. It may not be next week or 5 years or even 10 years from now, but that job will burn you and throw you to the curb on a moments notice. Seniority doesn't' matter. Hell, sometimes seniority makes it worse because you're getting paid the most and they'd rather replace you with someone for cheaper.
Always have an updated resume. Let recruiters do the dirty work for you, let them contact you for jobs. They rarely have a job I want to take, but sometimes they nail it.
I'm amazed that there are people that will just quit a job and not have another job lined up. That chit would be scary as hell for me. My current job took almost 5 months to secure. It was 3 months of searching with countless rejections, finally getting a hit and HR was dragging their feet with my paperwork. It was 3 interviews occurring once per week. Then after the final interview it took another week just for them to tell me I got the job then my start date was a week after THAT date.
