I used to make fun of rentcells. But they keep voting for property tax increases just to fuk with me.

I propose a 20% tax on rent paid for by the tenant. To fund things.

I took out a contract where the rent can’t be increased for 12 months, that price is locked so price can’t be increased, and I don’t plan to live here forever. So basically, I’ll just get 12 months free rent out of you then move on, I don’t need you for a reference I got connections and people that will sort me out without references

It’s over for you, how does that make you feel?

I feel bad for rentcels tbh. I was one and I too spent years thinking "housing prices have to go down again, they're so high!"

After years of prices going up and up I finally caved and bought my own place. It was one of the best moves I've ever made and it's appreciated in value by a six figure amount in a short period of time.

I live in London, UK. House prices are expensive af here (and salaries are lower than US btw).

I could easily buy a house from the city I come from, but it be hard to buy property down here. Fuk it I ain’t worried about that anyway, I’m tryna mog while I’m here, not even thinking about houses for now. Rent is dirt cheap and it keeps my head above water while i figure out a way to escape the matrix
