Technically, you are correct. However, we dont live in a vacuum, so our current form of capitalism can only be defined in how it's currently being utilized. So, at least at the top, the corporatism/crony capitalism definition is much more aligned with what we currently call capitalism.

Let's take a Bernie Sanders type of socialism for example, those of us on the right realize that after about 5 years those in power will transition to complete totalitarianism...while still pretending to call it socialism.

IMO common sense policies > whatever system one thinks those at the top are pretending to adhere to.
