Yeah I mean I am not surprised to see critics praising it, as it's basically the same games that were great but with fancy new graphics and some woke chit sprinkled in.
That said I am definitely going to pick this up simply because Advance Wars has always been my favorite turn based strategy series.

It's some base building strategy in a sense where you will want to have locations where you can spawn new units and capture locations that will add resources to what units you can spawn. It's also a bit like chess where units all have different ranges they can travel, different things they can do, and their strengths and weaknesses. Would have been a lot more interested last year around it's original release date when there was a bit of a drought.
Just too much to play this year already.
It's funny how now it's ok to release since nobody cares about the war anymore even though it's still going on. Blatant virtue signaling is going to cost them a lot of sales.
