I am almost in the 1% bracket srs (reeeps all around)

From having the brightest and most flashy CCs to being annoyed constantly by banks that I am guaranteed to any loan or card they have on offer every time I call them to ask about something.
That feel when instantly approved for anything.
That feel when The Credit Bureau fears you.
That feel whenalmost1% income-wise.

I am forever grateful to God, Almighty how far I made it, considering I was from a very, very humble family without any University degrees or even remotely interesting job titles.

I am working approx 15+hrs per day but its OK. I am that guy who is popping people emails at 1 and 2 AM on vacations and holidays whose bosses keep telling him for the love of God, can we do it tomorrow and enjoy the rest of the night.

In the US, someone working 40/w has to make $450k/y to be in the 1%. That's a really good salary, but I don't think 16 hour days are worth it.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I have nothing other than work in life srs. I don't go out to the most expensive bars in town and the bartender asks me, The Usual, Sir?. I also don't spend much or have a lavish lifestyle either. I also do not go on vacations.

I literally wakeup ----> work ----> Sleep 2-4 hours -----> work

Given I have nothing else to do, nor do I want to do anything else really, its great

It's all about Net Worth, not income brah

Being in the top 1% by income is great, but doesn't mean much when someone could be making $50k/yr but be a trust fund baby earning $500k passively

hopefully you are saving aggressively brah

The right wife makes all the difference, and kids are pretty funny. But family life isn't for everyone. It's good you figured that out before making the mistake of having kids and such.

Congrats on your success and it's awesome that you love your work but pick up a hobby or something. It's not healthy to be all consumed by anything. You're obviously good at what you do if you make that much but sometimes things are out of our control and you could lose that job. Sometimes gov't mandates kill entire industries.

Not trying to be a Debbie downer or anything but try to slowly build up some diversity in your life

this

Buddy of mine is the all hustle and nothing else type. Has a business selling products that I can't get into too much detail. But anyway, his business was on track to a million/per year in revenue, but he got cucked by Chinese supply chain issues during covid. Had to take incredible expensive loans to keep business afloat. Still trying to recover 3 years later. Sent him into a spiraling depression amongst other things to the point where he has to take drugs to get through the day.

In other words, start fishing, hiking, work on car engines, something so your entire sense of well-being isn't tied to the business.
