Misc haircutcels. Need advice

I went to a $20 Vietnamese barber shop yesterday to try and get a crew cut. Hadn't really tried shorter hair before.

They fukked me up BAAAAD. We're talking like wear a ball cap 24/7 baldcel style.

But anyway... the shorter hair got me looking at my head shape, and it's really weird. I honestly don't know what kind of cuts would be suited for it, once I grow this chit back out.

If y'all want to help me out, I'll DM pics to any confirmed non-****ot on here.

$20 would’ve made me not even go. That’s a guaranteed bad haircut. Use the StyleSeat app to find a reputable barber with reviews and pics. My barber is a master and my haircut is flawless every time. Fresh Philly fade have the sloots mirin hard.

^^^ This.

I cut my hair myself and have been doing this for over 30 years.

Once you get used to it, it only takes 15 mins and free (saved a lot of money).

I use an additional hand mirror for the back of the head but there are also three-way mirrors available.

it's minimum $40 in my area for a good cut. Used to be able to get a good cut for $25 pre covid. feelsbadman.jpg

OP, men with oddly shaped heads should NEVER cut their hair too short.

It's best to keep a little bit of length on the top.

And another pro-tip: learn to cut your own hair. I've been cutting my own hair since COVID, and I honestly find that I cut my hair better than a stylist. Like you, I also have an oddly-shaped head which is why stylists struggle to give me good haircuts - it's because they use generic techniques whereas I require a more nuanced approach to how my hair needs to be cut.

So paying an actual English speaking barber seems to be the #1 recommendation here. Can't say I disagree with that.

Do actual quality barbers give any recommendations like "yeah, I think this would look good"? Or do they just cut what you tell them to.

I'm gonna give it the normie try first. From 2010-2021 I didn't even do that. Just studied 7 days a week.

So fuk it, gonna go for haircut and confidence chit for a couple years, and hire the pasty 6 foot LTC girl of my dreams if that doesn't pan out.

How many times do you have to fuk it up before you get a decent cut? Srs question, learning any skill involves trial and error and hair takes a while to regrow.

No need to hesitate, boyo... And undercut is super easy to do, you literally just tie up you hair with a rubber band and shave all around.

So many guys are cutting their own hair these days that it's not that taboo anymore.

Give it a try...

EDIT:: BTW, for guys with an oddly shaped head, undercut variants might be your best option.

The saying you get what you pay for has never been truer in the hair cutting world

Ded srs, people may think paying 50$ for a cut is stupid but there is a reason these barbers charge 50 doll hairs rather than 20

To expand on this...what gets me about whoremaxxing is how many dudes are actually happy doing it.

If you're a pro athlete or movie star or chit, sure you can pay hookers. You are way past secure in your sexual prowness, and normie women are nothing but liabilities to you.

But if you look at say miscers. Ibby is smashing big booty Latina whores and needs validation from the misc almost daily about it, cause he feels like chit about it. LooksMaximus literally built his life around smashing Iron Curtain whores, and I don't watch his videos any more, but it sounds like he's got a lot of regrets.

They're the kind of guys who were always going to struggle with women. Ibby's a short ethnic with a crappy, odd-hours job, and LM is just a way strange dude who never got along with normies. But whoremaxxing didn't fix their problems, it just kind of dug those problems in deeper.

20$ is very cheap for a haircut. Keep trying around and see what style you like. A lot of people tend to be really picky about their hair

There's nothing respectable or glamorous about paying for sex.
Seems like a pretty hollow, emotionallly draining experience to me.

Ibby seems like a life long loser to me. Almost 30 years old , living @ home , blowing his wages on whores .

I had this issue 2 years ago and went to my current shop for a "repair cut"
This is a Afro Latino shop that cuts all hair types and has many Caucasian customers.
My suggestion is to find a mixed shop and explain to them your situation, but be prepared to pay $40-50

In the end it is totally worth it!

been cutting my own hair since middle school

#8 on top, taper down to a #1.5 on the sides.

I have perfected it to the point that a pro can't even do as good a job as me.

Sometimes I just do the sides only for a while and let the top get a bit longer, but eventually it's too much, and I knock it back down to the #8
