Get in here for a misc puzzle (PIC, reps for first 5 winrars)
You are on top of an 800ft building and need to get down. The other building is 400ft tall next to your one. You have 600ft of rope and a knife. There are hooks on the corner of both buildings to tie the rope to. How do you get down without splattering all over the pavement?

1. Hang rope down until it touches smaller building, cut into lengths of 400 and 200
2. Tie 200 rope to top hook and use a doubled 400 rope (tied to the 200 using a loop) to get the other 200.
3. When you reach the lower building, let the 400 rope slip through the 200, so it's free
4. Tie 400 to lower hook and repel

drop the rope down to the other building to measure 400 feet. Cut it so you have a 400 foot piece and a 200 foot piece.
Tie a knot on one the end of the 200 foot piece and tie off the other end to the building.
Slide the other rope through that knot so it can slip. Feed it half way so it is two strings that are 200 feet long each.
You now have a 400 foot long rope, it is one strand that is 200 and one that is 400 but folded in half so it is two strands that are 200 feet. total of 400 feet.
Lower yourself to the other building. (this is where the riddle is dumb because with all that slack and no way to belay yourself, you will still die lol.
You get down to the other building, let go of one side of the 400 foot rope, pull it through the knot with the other side.
Now you have a 400 foot rope you can hang yourself with off the 400 foot building if you didn’t already die.
