is making 100k even worth it after being 60k after taxes?
lets say you make like 55k which is like 45k after taxes
after going to school or whatever to make 100k it only amounts to a few hundred extra bucks per week

A few hundred bucks a week is a lot over time, but I agree, $100k isn’t ****. You need $150k++ to be living a good life if you have a wife or gf. Basically everyone needs like $50k to live and meet basic necessities and $100k to meet the middle class life with vacations etc every year, so every bit of extra money over that goes a long way to improve your quality of life and allows you to save and invest. If you make $50k you can’t invest at all basically, but if you make $150k+ you can invest your $$ and have it work for you with compound interest
