to be fair, the thoughts you have in the back of your head are more complex. like when you meditate and are able to turn off your inner monologue, you're still thinking about things but without words

Having a narrator or inner commentary is tied to the consciousness. So if you don't have a conscience then you don't have that. But even then as the 2nd poster said, I think everyone has that whether you're reading or just thinking. Whether you choose to listen to that voice or not is the difference between if you're an NPC or not. NPC's shut off that voice and live their lives according to what everyone else around them tells them.

Shoulda taken more brah and seen all the beings. Once I took an entire glass jar full of really potent mushrooms. I started with 5g and then decided to eat more because I wasn't interacting with entities yet... but was too fukked up to really know what I was doing and mindlessly ate the entire jar. But I came down eventually. Go big or go home brah, I don't regret that trip. Not saying people need to do mushrooms or psyches. But if you have ever taken a big dose, I really doubt you are npc. It will completely shatter that manipulation or any preconceived conceptions of reality. It can completely transform every belief you've ever held. Came from an ultra liberal family but became more and more conservative libertarian from taking psyches lol.
