OP it also depends on what job your going into. A lot of this information may be irrelevant to the new role your looking for so you may need to cater your resume to the role you're trying to get into to make it appear you have more experience in that field than you really do.

In that thread i'll also show you guys how to structure your resume so it is understood by a companies ATS system (software they use to scan resumes for key words) and no, copying the job description and pasting it in 1pt font and making the color white is a good way to get rejected. Its one of the first things they look for when they're interested in a candidate enough to actually look at a resume.

You dont need it to be just a job description. Everyone knows what a retail worker does.

What it should have on there is a problem you were faced with, the strategy you used to fix it and the result of that strategy. This shows the new employers something to dont normally see and that you are someone capable of understanding the assignment.

Problem, solution, result. For every job listed, have at least one or two of these.

Also keep it short and sweet, No one is reading a giant wall of text. If your experience isnt relevant to the new job, just put the minimum of dates and job title. No need to go into a big dissertation of how you shoveled chicken poop if you are applying for an office job.
