Inflation and restaurant/fast food deals

Rarely see them much anymore

KFC doing 2 drums for $2 lol
Mcds mcdouble almost $4 post tax

Place I went to few weeks ago got a pint and 12 wings for $20. Deal is already over.

Rather stock my freezer with $6.99 Bertolli Shrimp/Chicken & Pasta meals and cook them at home while lifting SRS. Fast food used to be worth it but those days are long gone

Agreed. Got a fries supreme at taco bell last week. $6 for like half a McDonald's small fries fake cheese and sour cream. I wanted to throw it back into the window

only get bogo big macs or bogo 10 piece when its available. drinks aren't $1 anymore either so havent been to mcdonalds in months

Yeah the app used to have some good deals but it's all normal prices now.

Bk still has 2 whopper combos for 12 on wed I'm pretty sure.

Had to go to cheesecake factory the other night for Aunt's birthday. There was a miscommunication with waiter and he brought me a soda and forgot to take it off my bill. It was $5 lol.

Even though their prices have gone up, Taco Bell is still kind of easy for $5 and some change. $2 Chipotle Chicken Burrito, $2 Beefy Melt Burrito, and a $1 Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito. Take that chit home, unwrap all three, add sauce, some extra cheese, pico, and sour cream. Usually comes out to about 2.5 lbs of food.

Burger King used to have buy one get one free Whoppers on the app but I haven't seen them in a couple months so I can't justify buying them. LOL at charging almost $6 for a Whopper. I remember back in the 90's they were regularly on sale for .99 cents.

$6 Taco Bell "Build your own cravings box" is the only solid move I'm aware of, short of getting a $5 rotisserie chicken from a store like Costco or Sam's club.

The one I get is 810 Calories, but you could get up to 1700 Calories from it if you get regular soda and fatmax on the item selections.

I picked up 40 traditional wings takeout at BWW for something a few weeks ago. It was like $60. Total joke.

taco bell prices are pretty crazy considering their cost must be extremely low but the $5 value box is pretty good now. a drink, a side item, a burrito or something & a taco.

McDonald's App for me has BOGO Quarter Pounders for like $5 or BOGO Double Cheeseburgers for $2.89
Taco Bell "Build Your Own Cravings Box" is a great deal for $5.99

Those two are good enough to keep someone happy. I don't eat a ton of fast food, but they are enough for a good snack.

To me, I think the value menu is a better option. I don't need the drink or chitty side item. I think the 3 burritos I get for $5 are about 1600 calories but I add more stuff to them at home. Probably 2k calories when I get done stuffing them with extra chit lol

Makes more sense than ever to cook for yourself.

Yes the prices suck but what really sucks about that stuff is it wrecks your stomach.

I kind of watch my ****s for what gives me good or bad ****s.

Basically most fast food results in bad ****s, meaning bad for stomach, meaning bad for you.

So not only paying crazy prices, but for food that's gonna jack your health if you have too much.

For that price you might as well just go to Chili's or something like that but food from places like that will get you fat quickly.
The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.

That's why grandma's apple pie rocks and yours sucks.
