Is it worth it? I'd probably have to do a 6 month boot camp

"There is no question that belts assist in generating a few more Newton-meters (or foot-pounds) of torque in the torso through elastic recoil of a bent orso that is stiffened with a belt. However, if a neutral spine is preserved throughout the lift this effect is minimal. In other words, to obtain the maximal effect from a belt, the lifter must lift poorly and in a way that exposed the back to a much higher risk of injury!

There are definitely entry level SOC analyst positions out there. I originally went to school for that field, but ended up in networking since theres more demand for that where I live.
A bootcamp wouldnt be a bad idea. But it is very complex and you do need to have a passion for it. Unlike other careers you cant fake it till you make it. You do need to know your ****.
Good paying positions are going to want to see tryhackmes on your resume. Or even projects you completed that they can look into on your own website/git.
If they ask lifestyle questions like what you do in your downtime, you'll need to spin it back into IT etc somehow. They want to see the passion. They know that the real moneymakers are the script kiddy autists, so if you want to do well in the field you do need to fit that bill.
