1) Anesthesia (pulling teeth)
Basically a long bass solo by Cliff Burton. It's pretty sick and goes well with the vibe of the album. The simplest of the five entries



2) The Call of Cthulu
More complex than the first, it name derived from an HP Lovecraft story of the same name. The opening riff/picking from James is pretty good and sets ominous tone.


3) Orion
This is probably the most popular as it's on arguably their best album. Straight ahead rocker with a sweet bass solo in the middle and good soloing by Kirk (when he still had it)


4)To Live is to Die
This is my personal favorite. The middle section has some great, emotional guitar playing by James starting at 4:58. Hits me in the feels.


5) Suicide and Redemption
This one is often overlooked because it came on their 2008 album, Death Magnetic, which was pretty solid. An attempt to get back to their 80's glory days. I'd say it's the weakest of the five, as they included it to keep consistent with their classic albums. A highlight is a rare solo by James Hetfield solo from 6:18-6:48
