Funny how Obi Wan used a mind trick on elite stormtroopers then sliced up dude in bar

Rewatched the real Star Wars yesterday for Star Wars day. Cracks me up how Obi Wan uses a Jedi mindtrick several times on several imperial stormtroopers at the same time, then 5 minutes later gets in a fight in the cantina and slices two guys in half. He could have easily used the jedi mind trick on these guys too but he just wanted to cut a bitch

Obi Wan likes to scrap.
Look at his face when he squares off against Grievous.
He is even ruthless with Anakin.
He is always relaxed in a combat situation.

His flaw was under estimating himself. He didn't want to fight DooKu alone... but he could have beaten him.
Anakin killed Douku ... Obi Wan beat the chit out of Anakin (full power Darth Vader), He beat Maul...
He is a scrapper

I mean if he sliced up the storm trooper he would have gave himself away and had the entire emperial army after him. The bar was a western type matter that must be handled accordingly.

He sliced 2 dudes in a blink of an eye. Realistically he could have sliced the 5 stormtroopers way before they could have called in for help. He literally could have made one swing and chopped them all in one pass.

They would have still been on the planet looking for a ship and a pilot lol.... A simple jedi mind trick on a weak beta stormtrooper is simple to be on your way. The bar you incident you have to flex and show people you can't be fuked with.

They were not the only storm troopers. There were stormtroopers all over Mos Eisley.

Yeah i guess. Just funny that a guy on the light side would choose two cut two normal dudes chilling in a cantina that weren’t part of his war, when he could have de-escalated the situation. For example in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid where the guys playing poker accuse him of cheating and he says he isn’t leaving until they ask him to stay. Still showed how badass he was without hurting anyone.

Obi Wan was arguably one of the most dangerous and skilled force users in the galaxy. Killed Maul and Grievous, defeated Anakin, went toe to toe with Tyranus one of the greatest duelists in the galaxy, was a General in the Clone Wars.

What am I missing?

He would have lost to Dooku alone. He lost to Dooku in both Ep 2 & Ep 3. Maul lost mainly due to his own ego same as Anakin.

He's actually always been fairly mediocre force user relatively speaking. Like a solid B tier. He is very well rounded in his other skills though which allowed him to excel in certain situations.
