verizon is scum

i paid extra for a watch with a SIM and went to connect it

my bill was $112 with their highest unlimited plan plus 5g home internet

with the watch added, next bill with activation fee is $178

all bills after that estimated to be $127

they told me itd only be 5 extra dollars a month

just spent 45 minutes in chat to cancel this bull****

I do not understand how people go to verizon. I went to a verizon dealer because I was close by. I checked out the plans and asked the guy "You charge so much more than everyone else, what value is there in going to Verizon compared to your competition" and dude straight up said "none, we just charge a lot more". I switched carriers about a year ago (comcast/xfiniti) and didn't notice any difference except I pay less than half.
