Guardians of the galaxy 3 sucks as well... (spoilers if you care)

Yup just got back from it

A tonal mess of a film which doesn't know what it's trying to be, all of James Gunn's worst impulses completley freed.

It's supposed to be a family film at the end of the day, well do you like horrific scenes of animal experimentation in your family films? How about having some really cutesy sentient animals as a result of these experiments animals who just dream of seeing the sky and are just lovely and happy and innocent, and then have them all shot in the head for cheap emotional manipulation, like that?

How about a trilogy which has, at its core been about misfits coming together as a family, all going there separate ways at the end so we can replace them with a bunch of D list heroes that nobody cares about?

Just trash, this was the last Mcu film I held out any hope for, I thought it would be a nice swansong and then I could just move on from the whole mcu satisfied, but no, it's the "star trek nemesis" of the Mcu and leaves you feeling depressed and miserable.

No, they tease him and nebula at one point which could of been kind of interesting but it goes nowhere.

Has a 96% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and a ton of positive reviews.

I guess you're in the 4% who didn't like it.

It was OK, but nowhere near as good at Vol. 1 and about the same as Vol. 2, IMO.

you're an idiot if you are still watching these movies.
This would still be a true thing to say back in 2015, or even before.

that pretty much sums it up

- guardians constantly yelling and bickering at each other
- villain constantly yelling and bickering at his subordinates
- childish jokes interjected during serious moments
- THREE fake-out deaths
- went too hard on animal abuse imo
- adam warlock and cosmo were under-utilized
-unsatisfying final battle with the villain, if you can even call it that

i still found the movie decent overall and it's definitely the best mcu movie since spiderman 3. drax was more than comedy relief, rocket's backstory was still good overall, groot was the best he's ever been, mantis got more spotlight, some of the jokes landed, and the opening with adam warlock was fantastic.

They all sucked. Don't even know why they made it in the first place with that cringey actor.

My son is taking me to see it tomorrow as an early mothers day gift. I don't have high hopes after seeing Ant Man Quantumania but at least I'm not paying for it.

The last couple Marvel movies have been disappointing, but I'm loving the Marvel Netflix shows. We've been watching them for the past couple months. On first Punisher now and love it.

This for me.

Adam was underutilized. And this movie is gonna be hard for animal lovers. Love Cosmo though, though in the comics he is a dude. I enjoyed it better than 2.

1 > 3 > 2.

Also last 2 Marvel movies, villains were black. See... they are not always portrayed as heroes as some would say. lol

Btw, didn't see Shang Chi yet, worth it?

As a standalone it's decent. Worth a watch if you have nothing better to see.

The MCU ended for me at Endgame. I occasionally revisit some older MCU films, but it's insanity to keep watching bad films hoping for a gem. The MCU is done. Has been for a while.

Audience ratings are all that matters. Critics are most woke shillsthat review bomb with good ratings for Disney.

Same. Surprised I even stuck on for that long since of the 20+ movies I watched, only 5-6 were actually good.

Hard to believe they've already released 8 or 9 movies and several TV shows since then too.

I've only seen the first one. It was a solid movie, but I'm not surprised they ran out of ideas to keep it decent for 3 whole movies about it.
