How do you respond to rejection ?

in pre-date text conversation scenarios. Assume, you were talking on a dating app with a lady you fancied, then you move the conversation to text, and after a few back and forth messages, you pop the question asking them out on a date...

And the lady's reply is something to the effect of "no"...

Surely they didn't just string me along for days on an app and text conversation for nothing? So assuming they don't respond with an alternative idea, and it's more like a "can't Saturday I'm working. Sorry!" What do you reply with?

Most of the time I just write them off as time wasters and don't reply. But does that cancel any potential for a date all together? Maybe a reply can keep the door open if they change their mind and want to take you up on the date offer down the road?

Help me out of this dry spell misc.

They responded to the date question with essentially a "no" so that wouldn't work in this scenario.

A few days may have transpired but the actual reading/texting over the course of these days took only minutes. And they were pretty quick to respond the entire time, asked questions, etc... showing genuine signs of interest.

Then I ask them out and their response takes a lot longer than before, and it's to the extent of "no" lol.

what were the actual texts?
I asked a girl out by text a few weeks ago, she made an excuse and I didn't message her since.
Would help to know some context srs. If you've never met her before and just texted, move on srs.

I've been rejected by girls that took me for a ride irl and I just had to take it on the chin and be like it's a shame it didn't work with this one, but not the end of the world

You just have to move on srs. Find another girl.

Ultimately, if you put too much emphasis on the woman, you're gonna fail. Idgaf about a particular woman, Im just after a good time with said woman. Good times happen cos you're a fun guy, good in bed, got a big dick, got money etc.

Women in most cases are just a hole dead srs

Phuck when I was dating there were not dating apps so it was a lot more in your face. Prolly easy as phuck to accept it via app. Lol. You used to have to be a man just just say **** it nothing lost.

This is good general advice but I'm asking more for strategies than to repair my ego. I can deal with rejection, and don't get hung up over it. I'm just thinking maybe there is a better follow up message than me not saying anything when I get a no...

Most of the time the convo starts on hinge like this.

Day 1.
We match, I comment on something in her profile, she comments on something in my profile.
Day 2-3
Small talk, basic introduction type Q&A. Seem to have a nice convo flow going, so I ask if she wants to meet for a date (just a general question and not setting a specific date/time/place). She agrees and gives me her phone number.
Day 3-4
More introduction type Q&A (where are you from? What do you do for work type Q&A), and small talk how is your day going? Etc...) She's contributing to the conversation, making it easy to chat, not showing any signs of disinterest.

Then I'll usually say something like "hey if you are free on X (usually within a couple days) how about we meet at Y / or do Z together?"

For the past 4 days she responded very quickly like within minutes...but once I ask them out they become silent for a couple hours and reply with something to the extent of "can't on X. My sister is getting her hair done so I have to watch her pet hamster. Sorry!"

And I'm like

you probably sound too keen. also lol @ hinge. You're trying to pick up some feminist they them whales too. Most girls on dating apps are hurendous, not after a relationship but just after validation. Good luck on there.

No worries, maybe another day. Then I just keep texting. I don't feel owed or entitled to dates, like most guys do.
