I have several bee and butterfly houses in my "yard" and my bird bath is set up with objects for the bees to land on when they need water all near the plants that are there for the bees

Also something not many people know, there are various subspecies of bees a lot of them endemic to a specific region. Some of them lack stings alltogether so they're completely harmless. they still make honey and everything they just can't sting. total MOGGERS

As a farmer, not only do you grow your own surplus of food, this surplus can be sold to pay your bills.

So you keep the entire value of your labor, as you are technically a small business owner.

Unless you were like my sharecropping ancestors, kept in permanent debt servitude.

They didn't have the opportunity like I do, they were like serfs really.

No literacy or education either, all they knew was picking cotton.
