It's something I never thought about until our current CEO retired. The position was open since late January and while at work today I received and email welcoming our new CEO.

I mean, I get it if you own your own company and YOU are the CEO, but what about a well established organization? I never see "CEO" positions advertised on LinkedIn or Indeed and he wasn't hired from within the company, so I'm kinda stumped on this, lol.

Depends on the size of the company but there are firms that look for qualified people to fill positions like CEO. Poaching is quite common as well

Specialised high-end exec hunters search for these people and try to sell them the job.

They marry into it

Either promote from within, or use a corporate search firm.

From my experience, Jews either groom their own kids or hire non-Jews who are trusted but can be controlled 100%.

From my experience, they don't usually hire other Jews for their own private companies. but if they are high up in public companies or companies no longer controlled by the founder, they will hire their friends.

Yeah there are firms that make money on that alone. Sometimes a company will bring in a CEO to make a drastic change, like an outsourcing specialist. This happened at my last place before they outsourced a couple hundred jobs to India. There were rumors, so i checked the new CEO’s linked in and he was basically hopping around at companies for just a year or two. Would get hired on, outsource a couple departments, then move on to the next victim. And eveybody wants to hire him because every place he goes he “saves x million dollars annually” at every firm, and then leaves before the place goes to crap and loses customers and remaining employee morale. But he gets credit for the “good stuff”

We're a pretty small organization so we're not publically traded yet. Only about 1500 employees between 8 sites around the world. Our HQ is in Germany but the new CEO is very VERY French. He attached a video statement to the email and his English is broken, but he's fluent in German.

I low key wanted to apply for the role for chits and giggles but could never find out how.
