If you are addicted to stimulants, there's no going back
For instance, many people believe your brain will be back to working at full capacity once you quit caffeine for a few months. But this is simply not true from my personal experience. I've quit caffeine for nearly one year in the past and my productivity was never the same during that period.
Once you are addicted to stimulants, you are pretty much fked for life unless you are cool with being significantly less productive.

well I mean obviously your brain isn't going to go back to working like it was on caffeine since the purpose of caffeine is better productivity, you were probably just retarded before and returned to baseline.

Opie is right. I quit perscription addies like 5 months ago. The constant drowsiness that you get after years of being on that stuff sucks. Even months later and after a good night's sleep, it's tough for me to feel genuinely refreshed without it.

Coffee is the most overrated **** I've ever tasted. May as well be dirt without a **** ton of sugar/cream.
Would rather have a nice clean monster in my mouth and I'm not even a tradie.

You guys really think having 150mg - 300mg in coffee most days of the week is a big deal? Try getting to a point where you're doing 400mg - 600mg+ in caffeine tabs just to feel like you're at a baseline level of ability to function. Then if you really wanna know what getting off stimulants is like, try being on perscription addies for years on top of that and quitting those. It's a totally different league of trying to heal your brain from addiction to stims.

It never occurred to me to use caffeine for those purposes because those seem like super easy tasks to me mentally speaking.

Imagine the life of a wagecuck or tradie without caffeine. That chit is BRUTAL.
12 PM comes around, you realize FUKKK there's still at least 3-5 hours to go.
This is the period 99% of people trying to quit coffee replapse lulz.
