I put this in the same category of when women want you to take solo bikini pics of them on beaches or on vacation.

I'm not certain, but I assume it means they want to capture the moment for after you're long gone, and they can look back and remember it without having you in the picture.

It's honestly disturbing the way some women can look back at pictures of themselves that their ex was the photographer for without caring one bit about having made those memories with the ex, as if the ex was never there to begin with.
