Jimmy's opinion is pretty strong on this one.

There is nothing inherently 'worse' or less palatable about Trump than the standard Obama, Bush, Biden, Clinton types. In fact, in many ways, he's objectively better. These people with TDS go nuts over the style of Trump - and he is obnoxious, loud and unlike other politicians he speaks his mind.

Somehow they make that out as the only factor, ignoring actual substance and freaking out over meaningless stuff.

So, when Trump urges his followers repeatedly to be peaceful on January 6th, they get a rowdy, one is killed, they end up doing nothing compared to any typical #BLM outing, and Trump argues without proof the election is stolen: somehow that becomes the worst thing ever. Because it's Trump. Hillary lying about the Russians stealing the election is fair game. Bush stealing the election in 2000 with an appointee of his brother's counting the votes is fair game. Making torture programs is fine. Bombing American citizens is not a big deal. Slowly torturing and killing Julian Assange is fine.

All that is somehow okay - but Trump opening his big mouth and being a clown is unacceptable.
