A lot of people died around me growing up. It really hits hard in a small town too. Like you go right into the ground next to the playground where we thought only old people go. You sometimes wonder if it’s luck or instinct or the gods do love you? You never know.

Two that I know of.

One girl was about my age but she was a depressed alcoholic. She ended up with some medical condition from it that ended her life in her early 50's.

She was sweet and beautiful back in high school, but was very boy crazy.

Her roomate left her cremated ashes at the funeral parlor and ran off with all the gofundme money for her funeral and creamtion.

3 off the top of my head - I never go on their anymore, so maybe it's increased for all I know.

An uncle who drank himself to death, one I'm not sure why but he was a type 1 diabetic so IDK if related to that, and another from Boot Camp that I'm not sure what happened - suicide maybe?
