Guys do people change ?
Hey guys I had a few "friends" who used to chat behind my back and were a menace . They were egoistic and narcissistic, the typical highschool bullies from HS . My interaction happened with them when I was in college , they still try to contact me but I have seized connection with them .
My question is , Do people change over time as we grow older ? It's been 3 years and I pityy those fools if they are the same

People don't change. If they were ass holes in high school, they're still ass holes today. Just like you OP. You were a pussy in highschool and are still a pussy today.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

They will alter their behaviour to suit their circumstances-marriage, kids etc. But yes, we are fundamentally always the same person.

Most people don't change and even if they do it's only somewhat. Deep down most people are the same person they were in their youth but just added extra layers onto it
Das not it mayne.

Only for the worse, generally speaking.
In other words, never expect or hope for anyone to become better towards you over time, because they won't.

Well they can apparently wake up and be a completely different sex, so hey, anything goes.
Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!
The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.
They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......

There's ways to change certain levels of behavior. Success stories from substance abuse avoidance/counseling, therapy of all sorts both physical and emotional, anger management, and so on.
I think some of the most impressive behavior improvements deal with control of one's ego, anger, and envy. Some things are difficult to change though after the brain is fully developed, habits and default triggers. Some are impossible to overcome. Some require paradigm shifts and "enlightenment," only after reaching the lowest of the lows, or witnessing others doing so and focusing on self-correction based on someone else's example.
The underlying motivation must come from within though. You must WANT to change, and identify the error or weakness, before the goal can even be tangibly progressed towards.

It's really hard to fundamentally change yourself for the better. I've seen people do it though. So yes people can change, but it's pretty rare because it's hard.

Men don't change, but women do. The old adage is relevant:
"Men marry women thinking they won't change and they do. Women marry men thinking they will change and they don't"
"Men marry women thinking they won't change and they do. Women marry men thinking they will change and they don't"
