My 3rd trip out to CO and every time I go it makes me want to move there (ded fkn Srs)

it is 100% not worth moving to. it was by far the dumbest decision i have ever made. could have kept my [paid off] house in 2019, refinanced some equity out, easily bought a fourplex in 2020, 2021 & now id have 9 doors at least.

in colorado, its stupid expensive and real estate valuations just went up state-wide by about 30-60% (mine was around 55%) & now owe roughly $380/mo in property taxes instead of like $240/mo. homeowners insurances here have at least doubled in the last two years as well (wildfires & hail storms). Lots of homes are now HOAs which should be a hard no for someone.

I-25 is utter chit, constantly under construction. constant traffic jams. and to top it off, expect to pay a minimum if $300k for a 2br/2ba condo or $450k for a regular house but at 6% with a mortgage of almost $4k/mo.

just telling you so you put that "moving to colorado" BS aside. dont fall in to the trap so many others do. it is a horrible financial decision. colorado is a place, now 2021 & beyond, where only wealthy families with LOTS of money move to. you'll never get ahead in this state. it's where stupid rich people comes to blow their money.

It looks beautiful. I've never been out west. I'd also like to see Utah and Idaho. My best friend went to some random lake to camp in Idaho and he told me about skinny dipping with his wife in crystal clear water and I've been obsessed with camping out there since.

Absolutely love Colorado. Lived there a few years as a teen. Colorado REALLY went to **** when they legalized weed. Worse decision they could have ever made.

Full retard libs started flooding the place along with low tier degens that moved to Colorado specifically to rot and smoke weed.

Actually know someone who opened up a grow/dispensary and eventually ended up selling out and leaving the state because of how ****ty it made it. They went from a freedom/pro legalize person to F this we need to make drugs illegal and crack down on them. (srs).

Its a pity the state went to hell.

Visited there for the first time last summer. Scenery is hard to beat for sure. Great altitude cardio gains too
