Most likely Alexander of Macedonia. He legit only stopped his conquests because his troops were tired and wanted to go home, srs. Lol, at cucked articles stating "he was afraid of facing powerful Indian armies." Now that's a laugh. Not sure if even Genghis Khan would have been able to take on Alexander's full might at his peak.

Dude was ****ing wild, he mainly targeted the strongest defenses of all his opponents and somehow still kicked their asses. Absolute gigachad energy. He did all that because he wanted to be remembered as a hero just like the mythical Achilles.

If we are going to judge them based on their brutality, then we can add Vlad the Impaler to that list. I don't think Timur's empire was as large and vast as Genghis Khan's. I kind of agree about Stalin, if Hitler hadn't attacked him first, maybe most of western Europe would be speaking Russian today.

The Mongol Horde most likely would have wrecked the Macedonian army fairly easily. There was about 1.5 millennia between them though, so probably not really fair to compare them in the first place.

Napoleon is probably an extremely strong contender. In his prime/peak, very possibly the greatest strategist/tactician ever.
