Girls get mad at me when I ignore them...

So today i come into the doctos office. Go into waiting room. Girl sits there I say friendly hello smile she smiles at me. I sit down start playing on my smartphone. She looks over to me again and again.

I am not interested since shes not my type and ignore her. Now suddenly she stops smiling and looks angry at me.

So am i supposed to keep eye contact and keep smiling even with women i dont like just to not let them get angry?
