Isn't that just regular propane and not MAP gas?
I always just get the camping / barbeque tanks. Sometimes there's a 3 pack for what it costs for one of the plumbing tanks.

Yeah regular propane. Have been sold out the last few times I looked. I use regular bc I also use my torch in the kitchen for stir fries etc.

My camper stove is butane or I would try that.

Try the dark green barbeque tanks. It's the same thing with the same thread on fitting at the end.

Get one of those adaptors to where you can refill the dark green tank from a bigger white tank. You screw the adaptor into the big tank, screw the green tank to the adaptor, turn it upside down and open the valve. There is a schraeder valve on the green tank you need to open with some forceps in order for it to fill.
