Tore My Bicep Today

So I tore my bicep today where it attaches to the forearm (distal tear). Anyone else have this happen? Did you have the surgery or did you just do the physical therapy to strengthen it without doing surgery.

If you tore it, where the tendon is no longer attached to bone you’ll need surgery brah. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

It's not required. Some people choose to skip the surgery and have slightly reduced strength. Here is a guy that talk's about his experience with the tear and choosing not to have surgery.

didn't get surgery and i've been in pain for about 7 months and it's just finally starting to feel a little bit better - but still greatly affecting my abilities.
pretty sure mine's just partial -- my bicep is back about an inch
i'd get surgery while you still can, wish I did.

Did you tell your boyfriend that the fisting has to be postponed until after surgery?
