Nice job most people suck at OHP. Build your triceps like nothing else.

My best was 225x6 (yes I was fat)

At 170# x8 there’s zero doubt that you can push 200# bro. Have you tried maxing out lately?

GJ DM.

I liked DB OHP more than barbell. Most I ever did was 90 lb (each hand) 3x8.

You got 200 for sure but maxing on overhead press kinda sucks. Rep numbers don't always translate to a max like they do on other lifts.

So true. If you don’t recruit the fibras in the correct sequence and with good postural alignment and form, the movement breaks down in an instant and you fail the lift.

You gotta maintain that “groove” and fire everything perfectly and engage the triceps and upper back stabilization muscles optimally.

That's why DB is so much better. You'll have good stabilizer strength.

Why wouldn’t it? Have you ever seen the delts of Olympic lifters? Here’s a hint, they aren’t doing reverse flies on the pec deck to get their rear delts.

A curtsy (also spelled curtsey) is a traditional gendered gesture of greeting, in which a girl or woman bends her knees while bowing her head. In Western culture it is the feminine equivalent of bowing by males.

You should have it in your program for optimal development but strength specialization for it doesnt do chit for your delts, just traps.

Yea bro that is strong. Most people can't even throw up 135lbs for that. It's a tough lift. Legit strict reps too.

Dunno. Honestly, I'm on more of a strength kick right now. I go back and forth between strength and aesthetics to keep things fresh.

I have too, which is why I'm putting so much emphasis on it now. I think most people stuck at it because you hardly see it done.
