Remember how you appreciated those kind words coming from a brah who kind of understood where you were coming from when you were feeling all down and bummed out over that stuff?

I'm saving about 50%. 6% is going to my 401k, and the rest was net going into a high yield savings account for a house down payment.

10-20% off the base, usually 50% of the overtime.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Usually at least 50%
If I keep at it the way I have been, I could have my first home paid off in three years
Maybe less time even since I plan on renting it out (mortgage is relatively quite low for my area)
Of course, I would prefer to acquire more real estate
Opportunity cost and such
But if rates AND prices remain sky high, it’s nice to know I could just pay off the first home and pocket about $1500-2000 per month for the rest of my life just by owning it

I put about 1K/month into a Roth IRA....

There is quite a bit I am using to aggressively pay off debt. So while I am not "saving" it, it's primary purpose is financial freedom.
