Any of you big brahs who's never trained MMA believe you can beat a 150 lb professional fighter since you got 50 lbs+ on them?

I'm 222lbs and do not consider myself big lol. Heck no I couldn't beat a trained 150lbs fighter. 200+ is hardly "big". I'd say maybe 250 and up. but anything less isn't big.

I've embarassed plenty of "trained" mma guys at barbecues and stuff. A 150lb guy vs me at 245? There is nothing they can do. I just flop on top of them, pin their arms to the ground and laugh as they squirm, or bear hug them with their arms pinned to their sides and squeeze the breath out of them. Would I "win" in a fight like that? No it would get split up, and eventually they would tire me out, but at a picnic with all the girls laughing at them as they struggle I always thought it was fun.
This is just play wrestling. If someone wanted to fist fight me for real in the street I would just shoot them.

When I started training in MMA , I had about 50 pounds on a competitive very strong amature fighter who was coaching me, there is no freaking way that I would stand a chance against him in a real fight,
after about a year of good training, he started mentioning that he’s having trouble sparring with me due to the reach, and he was starting to look for a large size sparring partners for me, even though I maintained that he would absolutely murder me in a fight if he tried.
as we approached two years of training I started feeling that I could do something, but I would still not want to face an actual competitive fighter even several weight classes below me, these people train all day all their life, and basically live in the fight gym, they have endless cardio, and they are very tough, very good balance also.
If I had to face a strong amateur or a professional MMA fighter, I would need a time machine to go back to when I was 20 years old so I can start young, I would want about five years preparation, then I would feel that it would be at least a fair fight.

I’m talking about PRIME Shaq. Mid 20s, not a retired 40 year old nfl player. And Shaq is probably bigger than those nfl players you’re talking about.

There's still massive difference between Conor and Khabib.
Conor is primarily a striker, and Khabib is a wrestler/grappler.
Assuming Shaq has no MMA training during his prime, Khabib would 100% take him down and finish him on the ground.

that's just how it is.
Khabib's fighting style could work against a big guy much better than Conors.

No. Conor Mcgregor, Nate, Nick Diaz, Chris Leben would beat up most men in a fist fight.
It’s just that fighters like Brock Lesnar, Roy Nelson, cris Cyborg, Mike Tyson and Butterbean would push our **** in even harder than any <185 lb fighter.
Answer: no I don’t. Just the heavies hit harder and will hurt you worse. Right Sherlock

It’s not smart to bet on the mountain (vs Conor McGregor), there is head butts, elbows, flying arm bars, there is a groin area and so on, it seems many of you guys simply have not sparred with contact versus real fighters, otherwise you wouldn’t be saying stuff like that, fighting is a very specific sport, you do not get to be better at it than professionals just because you’re bigger,
just like you’re not beating a chess grandmaster just because you’re really really smart, you are not beating Serena Williams just because you’re really good at ping-pong and you are a man, it’s not how these things work, these are very specific sports, and you’re going to lose due to very specific techniques that you are not aware of.
