Man, incline bench is fukking impossible
It's been easier lately to improve on my damn OHP of all things over this godforsaken lift. Is it too much to ask to get up to an estimated 3 plate max? Why ca I only seem to get to 270ish for a few measly reps before regressing?
Man, fuk lifting! I quit!
I'm gonna play soccer or something

If you can hit 3 plates on incline I hate you.

Switch to DBs.
Also, why chase weight? it's dangerous and doesn't mean you have mind muscle connection.

You're a deadass wuss, son. Giving up on incline when:
1. It's meant to be a tougher lift to put up good numbers on.
2. It's essential to a fully rounded chest.
So what, you're going to work flat and lower chest, and end up with droopy cough lozenge booby pecs? Have you tried to bust this plateau at all? Try incline first and see if it's better when you're not worn out. Or do DB and see if single arm work changes up anything.

Back off, Warchild.

wouldn't worry about it
if your ohp is going up, incline is bound to follow up
maybe you just have to practice heavier weights. try heavy singles at 280. that is if you care about chasing numbers. sometimes it's just a matter of you just need to get bigger.

When i switched gyms i saw a guy doing 405 on a Matrix incline press machine and wondered if i could do that.
I know the free weight is different but i wanted to reshape my pecs, not just "move weight" as Kai Greene would say.
So i started with 2 plates which was heavy as fk but kept at it and eventually hit 405 for 5(4 months).
Now my left rotator cuff is injured again, so the moral of the story is to not chase numbers like i did.
And this is on a dam machine!

What point of the lift does the bar stop moving? Or Got any obvious weak links?
Different grip width might help. Sometimes when you stall on closer grip you get past it benching wide for a while & vice versa. Depending on weakpoints

Nice job OP with the current weight you're pushing on incline. I rarely perform incline since I prefer Strict OHP more, but when I do perform Inclines, I usually only push between 240-250 lbs pretty easy.
I don't really try to go any heavier because I typically don't have a spotter. I could use spotter arms, but I am actually using spotter arms to place my barbell in the incline position due to my gym rack setup.

Your sticking point being in the middle is a matter of increasing speed from off the chest and gaining strength in the mid range portion of incline which will be more shoulders and triceps than chest.
I'd just add 2 board press incline for assistance lift and keep hammering the overhead presses. I'd even consider doing some banded inclines with a wider grip so that the tension increases the further away the bar is from the chest.
If you are doing 5/3/1 just add 2 board incline for assistance for 1 cycle and see how that works.
