Rating the last 10 NBA Finals

2013 - 9/10. Epic 7 Game series, Ray Allen 3/CB Block in Game 6. LeDagger middy to clinch it in Game 7
2014 - 6/10. "Summertime" Spurs played beautiful basketball to dismantle the Heatles
2015 - 4/10. Promising, had potential, injuries ruined it.
2016 - 10/10. EPIC 7 game series, EPIC 3-1 comeback. Most EPIC year in Cleveland's pathetic history as a sports town.
2017 - 3/10. KD ruined this one but at least LeBron and Kyrie prevented a 16-0 playoff sweep.
2018 - 1/10. KD and J.R. Smith ruined this one.
2019 - 6/10. Danny Green ruined this one (injured Klay, could've been an epic 7 game series if he doesn't get hurt)
2020 - 3/10. Everyone knew the Heat were overmatched and the Lakers were going to win.
2021 - 5/10. Unless you're a CP3 hater/Giannis superfan, meh.
2022 - 0/10. The two worst fanbases in the world, you knew the sport was taking a FAT L no matter who won this series. If you weren't rooting for Putin to drop a nuke on the Chase Center/TD Garden during any of the 6 games, you hate yourself.
All it takes is Mookie Betts, Steph Curry, and Joe Burrow all sitting in the same car in order for one drunk driver to make the world a significantly better place.

I remember watching 2016 Finals with my uncle game 7 that chit was lit. We were both rooting for Cavs, but mostly Kyrie Irving he was amazing that series.

2016 finals game 7 was a 10/10 game…… every other game was a blowout

2013 was prob the best finals series of the decade

The explosion of the 3 point shot has created insane score variance.

This is accurate. The narratives around 2016 were 10/10, however the actual basketball there weren't a ton of close games.

That 2013 finals was easily the best I've ever seen live. 2014 Spurs were the "team basketball" I've ever seen in a Finals team live. It felt like they couldn't miss and they were just playing at a level idk if I've seen another team play at, so that gets high marks from me.

Can’t believe LeGOAT managed to steal a game from the Summertime Spurs. I fully expected a sweep after game 1.

Wow, Jaydawg actually something not stupid about basketball. It's a miracle.

2016 is also marred by the Draymond kick and suspension. Having a title swing on a suspension is lame.

2015, Cleveland had 2 of 3 stars out for basically the whole series but a 10/10?

That chitty Boston team last year is a 9/10?

worst was easily the bubble, no one watched, players didn't want to be there, created over a liberal scam fear mongering campaign over a virus, doesn't even count as a real ring.

Yes so the top seed (Lakers) were at a bigger disadvantage compared to every other top seed in Finals history. No home court advantage and the road team was fully rested each game

the 2020 finals was based on a globalist liberal scam and doesn't even really count. it was all done to appease China and Lebron. no one even watched that ****hole.

2013 - epic NBA all time highlight from Ray Allen to save the Heat. Everyone forgets Shane Battier knocked down 6 3’s in game 7 though. He was a pretty big part of that W.

(9/10)

2014 - As a big spurs homer this was my favorite finals ever. The revenge tour and the dismantling of the Heat was epic.

(10/10)

2015 - Weak. Kelly injured Love early on, and Kyries knee died in game 1 of the finals. It turned LeBrons team into only a slightly better team than the AAU cast he had in 2007.

(4/10)

2016 - Second favorite finals. Brons dominance was on a level never seen before. Some say Draymond being suspended for one game is the reason the team with the best ever record blew a 3-1 lead.

(10/10)

2017 - KD and his fluff ring. Second most boring finals ever.

(1/10)

2018 - KD and his fluff ring, the sequel. Worst finals ever.

(0/10)

2019 - GSW gets a taste of the 2015 finals when 2 of their top guys go down. Kawhi gets the last laugh over the spurs and everyone else by winning a ring for Canada.

(8/10)

2020 - Some of the best basketball. No outside interference, no home court. Miami somehow got out of the East, but no team was gonna stop those Lakers.

(8/10)

2021 - Great finals. Home grown Giannis gets a ring that’s more meaningful than both of KDa, earns FMVP and dominates on both ends. The curse of CP3 continues.

(9/10)

2022 - Great for Curry. Finally earns his FMVP, the team he’s facing is elite, and young enough to be athletically near their peak and not so young they’re not smart enough yet. Curry won people over with this one.

(8/10)

2023 - Miami again eeks their way in, but Denver is a mismatch because of size. Nobody in the nba can really slow Joker down, and the role players were balling out. Jokic shoes everyone what Arvydas Sabonis could have been if he was in the NBA as a young player instead of the shell he was when he finally joined.
